Fiona Godfrey MBACP (Accredited)

Founder of the Wellbeing Room, Fiona is an experienced, BACP accredited psychotherapist, having worked for twelve years full-time in private practice. She works both with individuals and couples.

Proactive and dynamic in her approach, Fiona helps those who have hit a crisis, are struggling with a particular issue, or who just feel stuck with a sense that there must be more to life.

Integrating approaches from a number of psychotherapeutic traditions, and incorporating somatic awareness work, she helps clients move beyond old patterns of thinking, feeling and responding, to find more satisfying and happier experiences of life and relationships. She has a particular passion for working with: 

​

  • anxiety and depression,

  • adverse childhood experiences - trauma, emotional neglect and / or abuse,

  • attachment difficulties and childhood attachment issues,

  • creativity and the artistic personality,

  • high sensitivity, 

  • relationship issues and communication,

  • sexuality and sexual difficulties,

  • unexplained / complex health issues that may have an emotional root.

Fiona works at the Wellbeing Room on Tuesday mornings, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9.30am to 6.30pm.
